Pains in my heart - result!
He suggested stronger bisoprol but when I did try that a year ago I could hardly think and my head was even more fuzzy so he has put me on
Adizem

Pace & ablate, the only option?
Eventually I left with anti coagulant pills, Riveroxiban, increased dosage of bisoprolol &
Adizem
. I was given a follow up appointment with a cardiologist six month!s later & there it was suggested that I undergo a cardioversion procedure to 'shock' my heart back into synus rhythm.

Do the drugs keep me out of AF?
I am now 2 months post ablation. I had early recurrence at 12 days post ablation and nothing since. A lot of PACs and some close calls when I was sure it was going to go that way and didn’t. I take 240mg Cardizem daily. And 100 metropolol. My question is are these meds, specifically Cardizem keeping

Need some guidance
On 12/07 suddenly went into acute afib out of the blue. I didn’t know what was going on and went straight to Emergency room. An IV DRIP put me right back into rhythm. Dr. Put me on 30 mg cardizem 3 times daily . No issues since. The day it happened I had been sanitizing the house with straight

Chances of progression after ablation?
Hi All: i was just curious, and I know everyone is different, what are the odds of AF progressing to a permanent status? I have had an ablation and I am currently blanking. Only had one 5 hour run. Still on cardizem and metropolol and Eliquis. I rarely even have PACs anymore. I’m 39, and otherwise

Organized Atrial Tachycardia versus Normal Sinus Rhythm.
Had my last appointment for 2018 at the EP Cardiologist who informed me that I was in Organized Atrial Tachycardia which at the time sounded to me, like a variety of Normal Sinus rhythm however it is not- since it is not coming from the SA node. Does anyone have this type of rhythm? The EP Cardiologist

AF after Ablation
Hi All: Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I had a pulmonary embolism in April and went into AF as the hallmark sign I was in trouble. I had it once 5 years ago and thought I would never get it back. Now I am post ablation, and I had one 5 hour episode 12 days after the ablation. I usually

AF not in control yet
Last year I was diagnosed with AF, I have been on
Adizem
taking a variant of doses now on 240 and it still isn't under control. I am unable to take blood thinners as yet due to duodinitus. As the AF affects my BP which keeps rising substantially then falling I am becoming a bit concerned.

Skipped beats
Don't believe myablation worked. Am at the 3 month mark and have what I call skipped beats 24/7. Dr. Has put me on 180mg cardizem along with 50 mg of flecianide (spelling?) twice a day. Anyone else on this combo?

Since starting on 120mg PR I have felt like my heart is thudding and actually getting more PVCs. Has anyone had similar symptoms?

Now 3 months past ablation
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I figured I should probably participate in some way because this forum has been a good resource for me both pre and post ablation procedure. First I'll give a little bit of background. I'm 44 years old, and a very active person. I've always been relatively fit, and

Heat issues after ablation
Had what we thought was successful first ablation in January. At the end of June I started having issues with pvcs and tachycardia. I was on vacation at hit beach in North Carolina and had a ton of horrible episodes. I’m now back on rhythmol and cardizem and see cardio Monday. Landed in urgent care

Is there anyone that is in a fib that really does not feel any symptoms from it or know it unless your doctor tells you are. Thanks
I found out that I had a fib two years ago in a regular routine physical- resting heart rate was 110 -I was given several beta blockers and Eliquis -also given a shock and my heart did not go back Rhythm. I found out I could not take the Beta blockers and then given cardizem 180mg with Eliquis- and

Dealing with my first AF episode since diagnosis 6 months ago
The only medication I take for the afib is
Adizem
& Edoxaban & would love it to stay that way. Having been knocked out by the virus I have done very little for a week but I need to get on with my life. Got an important Bowling match tomorrow night that I must take part in .

Cardiology Consultant started me on these tablets for angina, but the info. leaflet filled me with dread! Did ask the pharmacist yesterday when I collected the prescription and he was pretty comprehensive, but am not totally reassured. Has anyone else taken them?

Flying with SVT.
I'm having to fly for the first time since I've been diagnosed with SVT back in 2015 of May. I've had two ablations and when I come back from my trip on May 29th I go through my third ablation. Since then they have put me back on cardizem and they've had me on Xanax for a while. Has anyone ever flown
