Hi All I had a stent fitted 2 years ago, didn’t have HA, but had chest pain, discoverd my right coronary artery needed stenting and have a small blockage at back of heart, which was too small to stent On all meds, aspirin, clopidogrel, adizem, losarton, rouvastatin and rabeprazol I’ve been experiencing

Currently, I am taking 120mg Adizem (Diltiazem) per day. After developing oedema twice over the past few months, my GP has referred me to the Heart Failure Clinic and is also arranging another eho. My last echo 2 years ago showed a dilated left atrial and I think the EF was about 58%.

One pharmacy has an alternative - I think it's Adizem SR capsules. However, some pharmacies have said they don't want to give a different brand. We're coming home tonight (3rd day of no Angitil). Has anyone ever had any problems swapping brands?

They kept me in for a week and gave me aspirin, clopidogrel, atovarstatin, ranolazine, ramipril and adizem!!! My angiogram was done on Christmas Eve at the cardiac specialist hospital and I was allowed home. The discharge letter says? microvascular coronary disease.

My cardiologist has recently put me on two types of diuretic Furosemide 20mg and Spironolactone 25mg She has also got rid of Wafarin which I have been taking for 10 years and put me on Apexiban and changed simvistatin to Lipitor 40mg I also take Adizem and Ramipril Whilst these seem to have deal

The cardiologist has discharged me back to the Gp , apart from ectopics & odd thumps/ bumps I am well on adizem & flecanide . 57 & female scoring 1 on chad vasc … so no anticoagulants til I’m 64. My question is should I be asking for another echo or something?

I’ve been taking Rivaroxaban with Flecainide and Adizem for AFib. My hair has become noticeable thinner. My Consultant has just changed my Rivaroxaban to Apixaban which also has hair loss as a side effect. Does anyone have this problem and are you able to recommend anything to help?

Taking apixaban only, couldn't tolerate beta blocker, adizem lowered HR too much. On PFA list. Five out of six episodes of Afib on waking, the most recent being last Thursday, the sixth being the first, happened while exercising,unknowingly, with shingles and h pylori.

Hello, I have been taking Diltiazem (Adizem XL 240mg) daily at noon and it is slow release over 24 hours. Now I have to stop taking it and start Ranolazine 375mg modified release, twice daily. So do I take the last Diltiazem and then take the first Ranolazine 24 hours later at noon the next day?

Switch Veraprimil to Adizem XL - would love to hear experience of others on this drug therapy. I'm now taking Flecanaide, Edoxaban & Diltiazem (Adizem XL). Would love to hear experience from people taking the meds I am. Thankyou for reading.

Currently on Ablation list and awaiting tests to see if I can take Flecainide PIP, intolerant to Beta, Blockers, Adizem lowered heart rate too much. Taking thinners only.

I recently had the strength of my Adizem meditation increased from 120mg to 180mg daily as my BP was increasingly higher than usual. This medication was prescribed to control my blood pressure and help my heart rhythm.

It suits me to take the tablet before bedtime because I take Adizem in the morning to benefit me throughout the day. After taking Edoxaban in the evening, when I wake up in the night to make a bathroom call, I can taste metal in my mouth. 🐝

If by day 7 it is carrying on should I start Adizem? I was prescribed some when I first got AF a few years back and it slowed me down so much it was horrid. Is it safe to carry on with heart rate raised?

I also take Adizem 120 slow release and 50mg Flecainide 2 per day as well as my many respiratory medications. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated from this wonderfully supportive site.

I was given biosopolo which made me very dizzy so was changed to adizem/diltiazem which I'm allergic to I came out in a rash all over my back n stomach.i was given anti allergy tablets n cream.then I came out in bruises everywhere.

My Flecanide was tripled for two days then doubled - (usually 50mg twice a day) Bisoprolol started 2.5mg once a day - no effect- other than making me feel ill, discontinued started on Adizem XL 120mg once a day five days ago no effect as yet?
