A Cyroablation
I had my cyroablation on Aug 3, at Mayo Jacksonville. Was released that night but had to stay at the hotel on the campus. Dr took me off Cardizem 3 days prior. Told three months for scar tissue to firm and nerve endings to heal. Besides afib I had SVT , uncontrolled crazy heart rate. I have not

Feeling more positive
Hi I posted about 3 weeks ago really at the end of my tether, and wondering if I would be able to return to work again. Since then I have contacted the hospital and I have a telephone appointment with an EP at the end of Sept and then out of the blue I got a call from the cardiologist who suggested I

Should I ask my PG for a referral to a cardiologist?
My GP prescribed
Adizem

XL
; I haven't started taking them as I think I had COVID-19 symptoms and was advised to wait until I feel better before starting the medication. Luckily I am starting to feel better after 2 weeks, but I have been very worried as I also have COPD.

New AF episode. Shall I take Adizem?
Hi all, I would appreciate some opinions or things to consider at this moment. I haven’t had a persistent episode of AFib for 18months when I had first prolonged episode. At that time I was eventually put on Adizem which brought my fast heart beat down to 48-80 and seemed to allow my heart to re-regulate

Resting Heart Rate in the 50's
I'm a 50 year old woman diagnosed in 2016 with high blood pressure. I was put on Cardizem 120 mg. Lately my resting heart rate has went from the mid 60's to the mid 50's. This very concerning because I don't know what causing the decrease and my cardiologist doesn't seem too concerned. Please help!

Pitting Edema from heart failure?
I saw the infectious disease specialist today for my cellulitis. He said that the pitting edema on both my legs is not from the cellulitis. He said it's either from liver, kidney or heart. Last week my cardiologist changed my heart med from cardizem to verapamil because he thought the edema might be

Leaking legs!
In September I was first diagnosed with Afib and enlarged left atrium. In November I was put on Cardizem, Xarelto and Aldactone. I now have severe pitting edema in both feet and legs. My doctor now suspects liver disease, which I have suspected for years. My concern right now is my 'leaking' legs

Adizem XL
Just been prescribed Adizel XL by Cardiologist to see if it works. Any thoughts, advice, experience? Cardiologists is back on a MVA thread after a few months exploring ongoing pain as neurological. Going forward for more MV tests, but the Dorset Cardio team is about to buy the equipment to do it locally

Seeking experiences with Requip XL and/or Rytary
My doctor started me on Requip XL 4 mg once per day to supplement Rytary. At the highest dose of Rytary, I have great motor control but enormous speech problems. Hence, Requip XL. It is expected that Rytary based speech problems might be addressed by Requip by reducing the Dosa of Rytary needed.

Beta Blocker withdrawal?
6 days ago my Cardiologist stopped my BB (propranolol ER 80mg) due to my BP running in the low 100's/60's and HR in the low 60's. I am in my 30's and was on the med for about 18 months due to elevated BP, anxiety. Cardizem was added about 6 months ago (which I am still taking). I recently lost 35lbs

Xaggitin XL
Hello, I got diagnosed with Adhd last Monday and I just started taking Xaggitin XL today. I was just wondering how long it takes to kick in? After about an hour of taking the tablet I felt completely stoned but it wore off after about 4 hours. I haven't been hungry at all. Is this normal?

Monomil
Evening everyone First time today I had to use my GTN spray, a trip to GP was needed and he has increased my monomil xl to 2 tablets a day - has anyone else found this to help their angina symptoms? I think I was in denial that I have angina and that after my stent I would be back to normal- how silly

Venlafaxine issues
I am the main carer for my sister aged 75 who has been on antidepressants since her teenage years. Recently she has had a change of brands and is now on Bluefish Venlablue XL 75mg and is worried about the feelings she is experiencing. Has anyone else had similar problems going straight from one brand

Been doing good, then...
I had some weird experiences this week. First, Monday my nurse made a home visit and I felt I was doing so well that I could reduce the visits from twice to once a week. Next day, I saw the cardiologist after not having seen him for three months. He didn't like how rapidly my heart was beating and
