If I can’t do my job without meds, should I find another job?
I have been dealing recently with the
adderall
shortage again and my work has been seriously suffering. It has been two months since I have been able to get a refill on my medication, and I am so overwhelmed at work and stuck in a constant state of task paralysis and procrastination.

I have tried Ritalin,
Adderall
and Strattera. Ritalin gave me bad mood swings,
Adderall
made my heart race and increase irritation and Stattera made me super sleepy. I am very sensitive to medication and so my doctor opted to try me on this new non-stimulant.

11 yr old son. ADHD, anger/emotional rollercoaster
He takes
Adderall
30mg in the morning and 20mg in the afternoon. Does great at school but gets in the moods at home where he will not listen, says terrible things to my wife and I, doesn't care about anything. Disciplinary actions from my wife and I only make him angrier.

Has anyone tried saffron?
I’ve been having a hard time finding the right dose for
Adderall
and it’s been making me very frustrated. My doctor asked me if I had tried saffron. This surprised me because he is a very conservative doctor.

Hello Everyone
I know I need my
Adderall
to concentrate on schoolwork and make it through these busy days. She is also super aggressive with me, kicking, hitting, and /or screaming at me. I need a change badly. I love her so much, and it's hard when the other person isn't being nice.

My ADHD Life in a Nutshell
I am on three medications but recently realized that the dosage I was taking for
Adderall
was minimal and no longer effective, so the dosage was increased. I am glad to find this community of folk sharing this still often misunderstood and disbelieved hidden disability.

Socially, Concerta vs Adderall
My psychiatrist has me using Concerta and
Adderall
or Dexedrine (due to the shortage of
Adderall
) on different days. It seems that I communicate better and calmer on the Concerta; however, I feel better on the
Adderall
which helps with my energy as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

What dose of adderall is your child on?
My son is 7 years old and up to 15mg of
Adderall
XR. I don’t see it working much anymore and the next increase will be 20mg. If your kid is around the same age and on
Adderall
, please share their milligram/dosing. Or did your kid not have the best results on it and switch to another stimulant?

ADHD and stimulate abuse and recovery
This time instead of going cold turkey I’m thinking about returning to my
Adderall
RX. It really helps. I know some say if you are an addict don’t do it, and some say that a moderated therapeutic does really helps.

hey guys :)
I’ve never tried medication, as I was on
adderall
for 11 years of my life, which basically made me into a robot, and I’m scared to ever go back to medication for anything.

Where to start...
Ive been on these medications for years now especially the Vyvanse 70mg &
adderall
15mg that I am currently taking for my ADD. My psychiatrist is nice and trys to help but I dont know if she completely listens or hears me in our appointments. I am getting back into therapy as well.

Abnormally Long Adderall Rebound?
I mentioned it to my doctor and he said it likely wasn't the guanfacine since that's not associated with irritability side effects, and that in the past I hadn't been overly irritable on
Adderall
, so he wasn't sure it was medication related.

My Introduction
I have been put on countless trial medications, whether it be
Adderall
or non-stimulant ADHD medicine, and all of which seemed not to help me. I get so frustrated with completing tasks that I am not interested in, and it is having a major impact on my life.
