Chronic fatigue
I’ve even found myself looking at how to buy
adderall
online (I’ve never actually done it and won’t) but I’m just so desperate to have the energy to live a normal life. I’m 25 and I feel like if something doesn’t change soon Im going to spend my life like this.

Anybody notice different effects with different generics?
With
Adderall
, I feel the differences are a bit more subtle, yet apparent. I swear I've reacted better to medication one month more so than others when the pharmacist told me they switched suppliers. Anybody else keen on this?

Struggling ADHD student
I'm currently taking a combination of
Adderall
, Inderal, and Lexapro. I would appreciate any input on school struggles or how to get a support group started.

What if medicine is not allowed?
I have taken
adderall
for over 35 years but had to stop due to an irregular heart beat. Alternatives caused problems and now I am not on any medication. However my A fib and irregular heart beat have been replaced by a regular heart beat.

What to do when Adderall XR stops working.
I've been taking
Adderall
XR for several months now and it doesn't seem to be working any more. Anyone had this problem? What did you do?

Most psychiatrists suck....
One time I told my doctor that namenda reduces
Adderall
tolerance and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. Turns out, there are promising clinical studies demonstrating the efficacy of namenda/memantine in ADHD. Psych doctors make me want to bash my head against the wall from frustration.

Signs of Medication Dosage Too Low
I am nervous to ask my psychiatrist to go above my current dose (20 mg
adderall
IR 2x daily) because he already said 40 is a very big dose which may be true, but I'm only ever on 20 mg at a time if you think about it! I am a 28 year old female.

What to do with an ADHD Spouse who wants to do nothing in their life?
Before anyone suggests him going back on medication I have begged, pleaed and cried for him to go back on
Adderall
, but he won't.

I have been a useless unmotivated broken single mom since going off
Adderall
and my psychiatrist has been working diligently on trying to find non stimulant replacements and they just are not working.

26F Late diagnosis: any advice appreciated
After working with my psychiatrist I got my official diagnosis, and took my first
Adderall
today and it was the first moment my head stopped buzzing, and I felt calm. I hadn’t ever experienced that before, and it was unsettling yet freeing at the same time.

CBD to mitigate side effects
So after about 2 years, my 15 year old has a good regimen of
adderall
XR 15mg. She was not using it on weekends but has started, saying that it's helpful in other aspects of life - like even not getting frustrated by not have focus to clean her room properly.

ADHD Treatments - New here! :)
Also, are there other medications besides
Adderall
and ritalin that are used as treatments for ADHD? Are there medications out there that will help, but not increase the chance of triggering other mental health issues that weren't previously present? Thanks!!

Saw a tele-psychiatrist for 10 mins and got prescribed Strattera.. Am I diagnosed?
It's not the kind of drug I wanted, I want the tried-and-true ADHD medication like Concerta or
Adderall
, not this delayed onset wannabe anti-depressant with crazy side-effects with potential for permanent changes to brain proteins.

5yo daughter recently dx with severe combined adhd & odd.. possible sensory issues (among other things).. it was also recently explained that, due to complications at birth, her brain is not creating enough (if any) dopamine ("she needs meds").. due to a blood disorder, her hematologist reccommends

Experience with Insurance denial of Mydaysis (or other medication) process from denial of prior authorization to 3 level final review?
My provider believes it will help with my
Adderall
ER tolerance. Ultimately the denial was upheld although I have taken EVERY adhd medication with the exception of Focalin (currently taking to move process along with NO success) and Strattera.

Need realistic expectations
I have tried taking Ritalin, Vyvanse and
Adderall
and I try to learn and practice strategies to deal with the symptoms but so far it feels like a losing battle. I just recently realized that I’m not sure how much I should expect out of Medication.
