ADHD Medication Trial
Would love some feedback from others about experiences with irritability (seems to be a side effect we're experiencing), and thoughts on ritalin vs
adderall
(and extended vs. immediate release).

Hi guys!
. 👍 I’m currently on a rather low dose of
Adderall
, and it works pretty well ... when I remember to take it. My school and work schedule is different every day of the week, so it’s hard to pin medication to another activity, like eating lunch.

Newly diagnosed 26 year old mother
He put me on 10mg of
adderall
, twice a day for 15 days. Then I up the dose another 15 days. My mind is blown with how, well, quiet my brain is. I can relax. I don't feel tension in my body anymore, and it feels like I'm full of endorphines.

However, to help him at school we tried Focalin,
Adderall
and Vyvance with varying dosage. On all three he became extremely moody, depressed and angry. The Intuniv does a great job with the hyperactivity but we need something to help him with his focus as he's struggling academically.

Why isn't Vyvanse working?
The two
Adderall
was by Teva. Where can I get the pink 30 mg
Adderall
? Also, shouldn't I be feeling a difference on the Vyvanse? Too expensive not to work.

Things have got to change
The perscription changed from Ritalin to
Adderall
and something else I can't remember. Really struggling with that memory ha. Anyway I stopped taking the meds. This was about the time there was a lot of talk about ADHD being made up and as a result I stopped taking the condition seriously.

Amphetamine for methadone withdrawal???
If you wish to see more info go to Https://opiateaddictionsupport.com/
adderall
-for-opiate-withdrawal-symptoms/ ID defiantly recommended to try it. I was very sick 🤮 and it fixed me completely. Interesting theory that panned out when nothing else did and all seemed hopeless.

ADHD at 50
and started taking 10 mg
adderall
daily last year although doctor says I can increase to 20 mg (I am sticking with 10 mg). Initial phase of taking
adderall
made me very happy and sympathetic. Now the novelty wears off and I don't feel it so strongly anymore.

13 year old girl ADHD new to Adderall XR
She just started
Adderall
XR 15 mg, taking half a pill. I'm wondering if anyone can share side effects, emotional issues (she has outbursts lately and has some anxiety too), and overall feelings of med helping or not helping. I'd like to know what to expect and how best to help her succeed.

Dose Increase Titration by How Much?
Funnily enough, 75mcg with TSH 2.19 had FT4 14.1 compared to 75mcg +
Adderall
with TSH 0.44 FT4 13.3! As if the increased metabolism made the pituitary send a signal to raise thyroid hormones only to get the middle finger from the thyroid! Will see the doctor tomorrow.

Never diagnosed
When my 23 year old was about 7 he was diagnosed with ADD and put on
Adderall
. I have mixed feelings about it. It seemed to work off and on and he didn’t like the way it made him feel. He is doing great now without medication. I just wanted to share about my kiddos to see if anyone can relate...

Is 5 mg adderall supposed to make you super chill?
Focused, yes, but not annoyed/worried by the things that normally annoy/worry you OR excited/interested by the things that normally excite/interest you? Normal?

Recently diagnosed - a few questions
A few questions I have are: - Does anyone have experience with Bupropion AND one of the stimulants (
adderall
etc)? I've seen some improvement with bupropion, but I'm curious if stimulants could help even more. - Any tips on finding in-network psychiatrists?

Anyone taking Adderall help with diet, and also TMD/J?
I try drinking smoothies but always worried because acidity effects my
Adderall
. Also, has anyone been diagnosed or has systems of tmj/d after taking
Adderall
? Mine started beforehand but had gotten so bad I can’t stand it. Clenching at night terribly, in so much pain.

Help!!
This also happened with the
Adderall
5mg too. We also tried Guanfacine 5mg that made no difference at all. He’s doing fine academically but we just can’t seem to get him to focus and not interrupt the class, or do what he’s told to do the first time without whining about it.

23 year old inability to launch
He went back on meds (
adderall
) in high school and took it on days that he had classes. He also was diagnosed with a learning difference in math. He is passionate about Kung fu, plays drums and computer games and that’s about it.

Adderal again
We are going to try
Adderall
again. This time instead of 10mg long acting we will try 5 mg short acting with a second dose of 2.5mg in the afternoon to help with a slow taper off. I dont have a question.
