coffee and adderall
Hello all, like it says…adderall and coffee. I’m very mentally addicted to coffee. I’ve convinced myself that it’s my treat, it’s my one drug, it’s the only way I can be productive or feel ok, etc, etc. but for the past couple of weeks, I have been on adderall. I feel like I should quit the coffee

ADHD Medications don’t mix well
I’ve been suffering from ADHD since I was a child. No matter what ADHD medications I take I get hyper focused and almost makes my ADHD worse. I find caffeine helps with ADHD but why do I get such a nasty feeling with things like Adderall and even non-stimulants like Wellbutrin? Any natural supplements

Qelbree
Hi all, I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the new non-stimulant Qelbree? I have been navigating finding the right ADHD medication for me for the past year. I feel like I start a medication and it works great but then it looses its strength or it has side effects. I have tried Ritalin, Adderall and

Exhausted..
Good morning, New member & I have seen more helpful information here than I’ve been able to find anywhere else! To start, my son is 6 and we have started the medication journey & it’s been nothing short of eventful. Focalin XR low dose increased to 15 mg and then 5 mg at lunch, worked for a week and

Irritability in the evenings
I have always had a hard time transitioning from work to home. Even before I had kids, I would have to decompress before I could even talk to my husband. With kids, it’s worse because I just have to jump into being with them, making dinner, laundry etc. I have built in a little break for myself that

New ADHD diagnosis for my 6 year old girl
My little girl is newly diagnosed with ADHD though I’m not that shocked. The past year of school has been incredibly challenging: hitting the teacher, explosive emotions, easily frustrated, highly impulsive. This school year started and after she headbutted the floor, I decided to consult a doctor. The

Nothing is working! I’m not asking for advice I’m just feeling sorry for myself.
My girl is 8. She is hyper, extremely defiant, immature, LOUD, obnoxious, and has no impulse control. Honestly, I think she may be a narcissist. Can you tell at 8? I can’t leave her alone because any time I do she at best makes huge messes which she never cleans up but usually destroys things that are

ADHD and stimulate abuse and recovery
Hello, as is common with ADHD I have struggled with an addiction to stimulants since an early age. My normal routine is to be sober for 2-4 years and then struggle for about a year. Well my year is up again and I need to quit hitting it so hard. This time instead of going cold turkey I’m thinking

hey guys :)
Hey um this is the first time I’ve ever tried something like this. Im dealing with severe undiagnosed ocd. I’ve known I’ve had ocd since I was a kid and it’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. I feel profound loneliness, as I’ve never met someone who understands why I am the way that I am. I’ve

Best Adderall Alternatives?
Have any of you had any success with a natural remedy/supplement or a non controlled substance? I DO NOT like taking Adderall because I have a huge "crash" at approximately 8pm/9pm, including severe depression. I wake up to the same severe depression in the morning (which is worse than before I started

Socially, Concerta vs Adderall
Hi, Hopefully someone can help me here. Seems like a supportive community. I was diagnosed with ADHD 3 years ago. My psychiatrist has me using Concerta and Adderall or Dexedrine (due to the shortage of Adderall) on different days. It seems that I communicate better and calmer on the Concerta; however

Jaw and Shoulder Pain
Did anyone have jaw and/or shoulder pain that was eventually relieved once they found their sweetspot? I am 24 days on 100mcg T4 and 5mcg T3. I have the jaw and shoulder pain, plus still very tired. I think the brain fog is somewhat better. It is hard to sort out brain fog and fatigue at times. I can

National Shortage
I first heard that it was
adderall
and my son wasn't being affected because he takes Focalin
xr
. Last time refill they could only give me 20 instead of 30. I called right now to possibly up my sons dose and the ped said now all adhd meds are having shortage issues.
