Drug Side Effects - Advice needed please - Adcal/Omeprazole
I take
adcal
but have read in another post that
adcal
can cancel out omeprazole. Is there an alternative? I have also read about the side effects of omeprazole such as heart problems, bone problems, salt problems. What are your thoughts on ritinidine, is it as effective as omeprazole?

+D3 as I'd only been taking that for a few weeks, so I stopped that too. I usually take 1 anti histamine a day, but as that didn't solve it either, I increased it to 2 a day.

hello everyone. I am a new member to this site. My doctor has put me on adcal d tablets. Very confused.
I have had blood tests and was told my calcium levels were low due to a gland behind my thyroid gland therefore I have been put on the above tablets. since November last year to now I have put on 3lb per week could this have anything to do with the low calcium.

I have a painful throat. Previous ultra sound showed cysts either side of my thyroid but not on my thyroid anyone know what that means?
As an addition I had breast cancer surgery 18 months ago and am taking
Adcal
D3 and Letrozole. I also have a large gall stone (which I have been told could be a result of a poorly functioning thyroid).

Osteoporosis risk or Cardiac risk?
I also have
AdCal
daily. However, there are now serious concerns about side effects of Strontium Ranelate: according to the MHRA there is a risk of 'cardiac disorder'. I will take this up with my GP this week. Should I be more concerned about osteoporosis or having a heart attack?

My adventures with the beasts
He prescribed
Adcal
-D3 and Alendronic Acid and kept me on Zantac. My sleeping is mixed I think it is connected to the time I take Prednisolone. On days I take it early 5am I get more sleep (up to 7 hours) if I take it after 9am I get much less sleep (3/4Hours or less) 12th June.

My chemistry is now a bit stale, and info sheet says no calcium carbonate, (

Has anybody experienced "mouth problems" whilst taking Alendronic Acid?
Alongside the Pred, I have been prescribed Ranatidine,
Adcal
-D3 chewable calcium tablets and Alendronic Acid - to be taken once weekly. Today I had my regular 6 monthly dental check-up (the first since since PMR diagnosis).
