how much adrenal cortex extract per day?
There are supplements containing anything from 50 to 500 mg of ACE per capsule. I found one by Essential Therepeutics simply called Adrenal Cortex which provides 500 mg of bovine ACE per capsule, whereas 250 mg per capsule seems most common. Does anyone have any idea how much ACE to take? I realise

really good adrenal (cortex) supplement?
Sorry if this has already been discussed: I would like to know if anyone can recommend a really good product for adrenal fatigue? I have read so much about this...some recommend adrenal cortex extract (ACE) products only, to avoid additional adrenaline, while others say that, once the adrenal fatigue

I was supposed to be on NAX according to Dr Peatfield but did not do well on them. I am doing much better on the thornes. So is the amount

AFIB and Heart Failure
This is my first post. In June 2012 I was diagnosed with AFIB & Heart Failure. My pulse rate was 160. The hospital cardiologist decided to treat me with the powerful drugs which they routinely prescribe instead of trying a cardioversion. Three miserable years later, after trying beta-blockers, ace inhibitors

Do you think Chronic Fatigue Syndrome exists?
I'm interested to hear peoples views on CFS, and whether you think it exists - or whether you think it's a name given to a collection of issues not 'picked up' by our doctors (such as adrenal fatigue, hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, insulin resistance/pre diabetes and so on) I have actually been

What is the adrenal extract in Nutri Adrenal Extra?
Does anybody know if it contains adrenaline, or is this cortex extract? I'm considering using this instead of taking all the individual supplements, along with my adrenal cortex extract, but don't want to buy it if it contains adrenaline!

Adrenal stress test. How long should I stop taking adrenal cortex extract?
In light of my latest thyroid panel, I need to check my adrenals again. I have been taking adrenal cortex extract for a few months, so I'm not entirely sure how long I have to stop taking this for, before doing the saliva test? Somebody kindly pointed out that I have to be off it for two weeks beforehand

Confused with test results - advice please!
I had my bloods done on Monday, and have just phoned for the results but I'm confused. Firstly, I am taking 2.5 grains of NDT (was taking 2 at the time of the blood test, and left 26 hours before having blood drawn). Before this blood test, my TSH was 2.8 back in May - the receptionist said it was 'quite

A Fibb and Hypertension
I have had A Fibb on and off for 4 yrs but this year had 6 episodes lasting up to 36hrs between April and the end of Sept. Got to see an EP and he put me on Flecinide 100mgs twice a day. I had been on Bisoprolol 5mgs a day to help with both A Fibb and High B/P. I found Bisprolol had a terrible effect

Help with hypo and cardio symptoms appreciated.
I was diagnosed a year ago, after what I think was a decade of being borderline hypo. I take 25ug of levo and my last TSH measurement was 1.9. FT4 and FT3 are both 'within range'. My GP has prescribed ACE inhibitors and calcium channel blockers, neither of which had any effect on my blood pressure. She

ACE inhibitors
Hi - the Amlodipine aren't agreeing with me; been suggested that I try ACE inhibitors. Anyone give me any feedback if they are on them please? Thanks. Merry Christmas to you all.
