Rising PSA after chemo, next steps?
Started degarelix, had 6 sessions of docetaxel, added
abiraterone
in August, consolidative SBRT in September. Lowest PSA was 0.99 right after chemo, in August. In September, 1.12, October 1.87, and now in November it is 4.16. His Testosterone levels remain <7. (Switched to Orgovyx 6 weeks ago.)

Another victory for "triplet"therapy for newly diagnosed metastatic men.
Last year, the PEACE1 trial showed that the combination of
abiraterone
+docetaxel+ADT, all started at the same time, increased survival by over 1 ½ years in men with high volume metastases (we are awaiting data for low volume).

Does ADT Reduce Ones Sense of Balance?
Since I got PCa, and was put on ADT (currently Orgovyx and
abiraterone
plus prednisone) I have found my sense of balance has been reduced.

Yet another fork in the road
I assume the choices are immediate systemic treatment (ADT, perhaps in combo with
abiraterone
again...or something else?) or waiting until the recurrence is detectable on the recently approved PSMA scans.

PSA and Testosterone befor starting Zytiga ( abiraterone )
I have been on Eligard for 60 days now and am about to start taking Zytiga. ( no noticable side effect so far) should I ask my doctor to order a PSA and Testosterone test for me to measure the effectivness of Eligard so far and to establish a base line for how effective the Zytiga will be going forward

Zytiga and Prednisone dosage
I’m currently taking 5mg prednisone daily along with my 1000mg
abiraterone
. I’ve noticed that my blood pressure has been creeping up… averaging maybe 140/80. Is this a case where I would maybe be a candidate for 10 mg of prednisone instead of just 5mg?

Not very good news
Oncologist appt today didn't end up with the best news, PSA raising after only 9 months on Eligard and 6 months with
Abiraterone
added. Dx in Nov 20 with biopsy results of 8 cores 5+4=9 & 2 cores 5+5=10 with PSA of 8.4. Urologist started me on Bicalutamide.

Got PSMA SCAN Results-Now What?
Dr Sartor was able to start me on 1000 mg of
abiraterone
acetate (Zytiga) and 5 mg of prednisone, that same day. April 9 a local oncologist gave me a 3 month dose of leoprolide acetate (Lupron).

My Orchiectomy Adventure
After my last lab showed an increasing PSA while on both Eligard and
Abiraterone
he told me he 100% supported it. I already had an appointment set up with a urologist because of a lot of discomfort and sometimes pain in my testicles.
