what vitamins, minerals are good for joint pain linked to hypo.?
In 2018 my hypo symptoms, many years after RAI (in 2010) -- some weight gain and tiredness -- worsened quickly, starting with stiff finger joints. Then in one month I gained 7 kilos while eating very lightly. 2 months later, back pain from stiffness. So I know it's not due to arthritis. My last endo

Iodine drops
Hi, I’ve heard from few natural holistic practitioners that taking iodine drops daily helps with thyroid illnesses to boost energy levels. Can anyone elaborate or have any useful info regarding it or experience in taking iodine drops for their thyroid health. Thanks

TSH after RAI treatment.
Just wondering is there a pattern to how the TSH performs following RAI treatment. I had RAI in 2008. Presently my TSH is very low/suppressed. As to be expected my Gp has reduced my levo from 100 to 75 mcg. And seeing Greygoose most comprehensive response to Supul , I know my thyroid has been mismanaged

So scared of starting PTU
I have a hot thyroid nodule which makes me hyperthyroid. I had RAI at the end of 2017 (don't want surgery) and while it greatly improved my condition I am not fully cured. I am 38 years old and just found out I am pregnant. So my doctor will be changing me from methimazole to PTU, half a pill a day.

Here is an extract what I read on Gutsense.org re salt

Changing from Levo to NDT
Hi All, Can I ask those of you that did not get on well with Levo and changed to NDT, what changes did you notice? Especially those who have had either TT or RAI. Just curious. Thank you.

Blood test results
Hi everyone. I’ve had some test results back. I had RAI in 2011 for hyperthyroidism and I’m therefore hypo. I’ve never really felt healthy since and in more recent years have got worse with aches and pains, anxiety, low energy levels, weight gain and more. So as you can see, B12 is low so I know what

Will I ever feel like my old self again?
Hi I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer after a TT and had RAI last month. I thought after RAI I would magically return to my old self but it just hasn't happened. Im constantly worrying that the treatment hasn't worked, I don't find out until the end of the year when I have my scan. I try to keep myself

Hi everyone, am new to this, I just wondered if anyone else suffers from this with Graves’ disease
I’ve recently been diagnosed with graves, am not on any treatment at the moment after having iodine treatment before Xmas. Does anyone suffer from joint pain? My hands and feet ache a lot. And I feel like my legs are really heavy , I am struggling to get regular blood test done because of the COVID,

The Importance of Nutritional Factors and Dietary Management of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
This paper was written with specific reference to Poland. For that reason, there will be elements which are inappropriate in other countries. My main aim in posting is not to distribute the advice contained so much as to highlight that there are at least some people who recognise that there are issues

How much iodine should be taken
Does anyone know what a therapeutic dose of iodine is? David Brownstein treats thyroid disease with large doses but the was a recent docuseries by Alan Christianson saying the exact opposite and that it is too much that causes thyroid disease. The docu series is finished but the Q&A is still on YouTube

Graves thyroid eye disease (TED) post-thyroidectomy?
Hi all, new here and would appreciate any info you may have re this issue. I've had Graves and associated TED for the past 5 years, and not wanting to be on meds any longer, and also to hopefully help the heart, I scheduled TT for end of 2020. Here is my question: since Graves is the immune system attacking
