And what a lovely morning for exercise it was! Well done on starting S&F. You'll really notice the difference to your fitness by the end of the plan. Good luck alcopop!
Glad to see you're starting s and f! I felt very self-conscious too when I started it, even more so than c25k! I don't tend to see many people when I'm out 'doing it', as we live in the country, but I must admit I check to see if anyone else is around before I start each exercise!
I used to do some of it inside the house and some in the garden too.
Off out now for a dose of s and f myself, whilst walking the dog. Yes, it's a fabulous day here, blue sky everywhere!
PS Now I know all the exercises I don't stop walking until the last second before the exercise begins, otherwise there's a lot of hanging around.....
I agree with you about the hanging around... but then Laura has a lot of instructions to give us. I, too, tend to walk around or do some "stepping" on a step right up until the last second.
Yes, we all felt very self-conscious about walking around "waving" our arms in the arm to begin with. I must confess to doing the exercises indoors more often than not. Still, it's all exercise and you'll soon see the results.
Well done for starting. I do them either in the garden or in the house as the park is miles away. I use what I have about me, for example a chair instead of a bench and the door frame instead of railings. They all work and I feel great for doing these exercises. Week 5 on the way.
