Shoulder rolls - forward.

I love the shoulder rolls going backwards, I can feel the tension in my shoulders easing as I do them. I also work them into my warm up walk when I go out running. I even do them here at my desk sometimes. (When no one is looking) The odd thing is when I try and do it the other way it doesn't feel right. I feel all hunched up and awkward and I can't seem to work both my shoulders at the same time. Does anyone else feel this? Any tips?

Hi Pelephant,

Do you feel any pain when you roll your shoulders forward? If you're not managing to work both of them at the same time, it may be due to a bit of stiffness in one of the shoulders. If you're pain free, keep performing the rolls in both directions and eventually, they should both start to loosen up and work together.
