Second day of our 7-day, 5 Tibetan Rites Challenge!

A bit shorter today, as I think we know the movements now and we know which of the below versions of the rites we’ll want to chose.

Fabulous first day, and it seems Rite 5 is quite popular with VRBs.

I’ve been thinking how at least one of the adapted poses have already found their way into my daily activities.

The chair based version of rite 3 I do quite often when I sit on the couch. I started doing that after reading James Nestor’s book about breath, and how opening your chest area also increases your lung capacity. And that in turn correlated to health.

So how is everyone else?

Done ✅, this time from memory without a video to follow along to. Did not need warmup, as I just had come from a run before.

Hello everyone, I'm a bit late to the party but I've just done day 3! I've pulled a muscle in my back I never knew existed (!) so the downward/upward dog pose is a bit ouchy. I'm generally not good at spinning but I found that keeping my eyes fixed on the fingertips of my right hand worked a treat! Advice taken from this vid: youtu.be/fOhmgOHYQUg I didn't realise we needed to warm up so I'll make sure I read CBDB's posts more carefully next time 😅

A warm-up is necessary...I feel...I'm doing the chair based, as in my reply.. as having only just got over a lower back issue, I don't want a flare up!

🍏Had fun today watching all of the different videos and trying out the modifications on the floor and in the chair. My body is not ready for the full Monty but I am excited about starting at my own pace and getting into an early morning routine on non running days. I find it gentle and relaxing…

that’s brilliant. I do think a little done often goes a long way, so I’m looking to stay at fault 7 repetitions of the rites for a bit. (After the end of the challenge)

Hello my lovely tech friend. I have to apologise as I have missed the first two

Sessions of this challenge. With one thing and another….specifically one thing ……! I completely forgot. So I shall gracefully bow out this time. However I shall take a look at the videos and maybe do it another time.

At the moment CBDB as you know I’m doing Pilates as well as running so I think maybe that’s plenty.😂😂🥰x
