To celebrate the fact that we can add pictures to our posts again, and to raise awareness of some brilliant posts in our collection, here the link to Ju-Ju‘s Plankety Plankathon, that Ju-Ju ran ca 2 years ago. The links are still there, as are the videos.
It still is a bit too much for me, but I can see me doing the Plankathon in another 6 months or so.
So if you want to improve your core and planks, have a look:
Recently only with the Yoga practices. I made a half hearted start at Ju Ju’s Plankathon…and a few years back started a 30 day challenge…but can’t remember how far I got! 😂🙄
So have you chosen to join the challenge starting on Monday? A few years have passed since your last plank challenge. I think that you have changed a lot since then! 😊 Whatever is best for you. 😊
I have used a Bowflex 3 min plank routine, in that one every 30 seconds there is a change of position. The instructor says take a break at any point. I have never completed 3 minutes straight, but always take a break at each position change. I rather like the idea of Ju Ju's challenge where you just go for 30 sec one day and slowly build up. Can you remember how far you reached two years ago?
Great, thanks for posting 😊I need some inspiration (strength exercises NOT my favourite 😬!)

Fab, shall I add you to the group that DylanTheRabbit has brought together! They’re starting next week! (I’m tempted, but I think it’s a bit too early for me and will end in frustration still, but give me another half to one year…..
Good morning Plankers! Week 1 30 seconds elbow plank ✅ I knew I could do this as I fairly regularly do the Bowflex three minute plank routine, but the instructor says take a break whenever you like and then plank some more. So I always take a break at each of the changes of position. I don't think that I have ever tried one minute straight planking, so next week will be a challenge. Even with the 30 seconds I can feel my body working away. Happy Planking to you all!
Thank you 😊 I appreciate that you said that you said that you were not ready for the plank challenge. Is that the 3 minute challenge or do you also feel that the 1 minute challenge is a step too far at the moment as well? As I am sure you know 10 seconds for the first week of the 1 minute challenge. Have you tried getting into the plank position I wonder?
Bit late but count me in please... Did it once... can do it again ??? x

Brilliant! DylanTheRabbit has started the plankathon over at S&F at healthunlocked.com/strength... And there seems to be already some substantial planking going on over there! Drop them a reply post, and you’re in!
