After reading Oldfloss' new "Off the Couch" post on C25k I have followed her advice and joined Strength and Flex. To be honest, I have loitered here quietly for a few weeks, but Oldfloss' new post gave me the nudge I needed.
I'm on C25k for the third time after pulling up with injury during week 9 last year, which was really disappointing. A failed restart in September saw me out of the game for a bit longer, but I'm back and now in week 5. Storm Ciara has put a stop to my w5r3 run today, so I am here instead and have signed up to the Plankety Plankathon and the February yoga.
It's great to see some familiar names on here from C25k. I'm looking forward to joining you all!
The yoga was really good -I've not done any Adrienne yoga before but I've noticed people refer to her on the c25k forum, so it was really nice to find out more today. I wasn't sure whether to start at the beginning of the plan, but I'm not new to yoga, so roseabi told me to just jump in to the one for today. I'm so glad I did because if today's lovely session is anything to go by I'm hooked! I like that she does "wiggly yoga" as my yoga teacher calls it, and I think my yoga teacher would love her!
The yoga is great... I have been working with Adrienne for a long time
The benefits of visiting here are really great.. for all of us... we need motivation and we need support... it is fun... just need to get some chums over here..
click on Oldfloss and spin down a bit she’s posted loads and there are links in there for what to do and the first one was feet and calves and really made a difference
Oldfloss did a series of posts, starting with the feet and working up the body! You can find them all in the pinned posts section. This is the calves one healthunlocked.com/strength.......
