Feel a bit odd
I know the feeling, and I feel lucky having a secluded garden and I’m still doing it ‘secretly’ early in the morning and in the most hidden away parts of the garden.
But doing it early in the morning really has its perks, experiencing the garden in its dew-y glory. So all I can suggest is finding that secret spot inside or outside, at a time which feels secure.
For me, the joy of the physical exercise at some point took precedence over any of my shyness, so now, even the neighbours milling about next door don’t threaten my decision anymore. And the delight of getting to know my garden, the trees, the lawn and the sitting stone for bench dips was a real added extra.
But I fear, I couldn’t do it in a public park. So I am with you DottyF. Hope you find a good solution that works for you.
I started it in my living room then progressed to the park. I did it early, so fewer people, and found somewhere semi secluded. Then I just pretended I wasn’t embarrassed when people went by 🤣
Be as embarrassed as you want no one else will know. Those rosy cheeks are from working out! You are doing this for you. I told myself that a lot.
I started indoors too, but eventually I began to incorporate it into my early dog walk in the field (always checking there was no one watching of course!) - the dog used to get most confused!!!
