Wednesday work

So day 2 of my new regime. Today I have done

Incline Dumbell Press

3 sets 12 reps 12 kg

Push-ups:

3 sets of 10

Standing dumbbell shoulder press:

3 sets 12 reps 12kg

Lateral raises:

3 sets 20 reps 5kg

Squats:

3 sets 12 reps 22kg

Lunges:

3 sets 12 reps each leg 12 kg

Bent over Row

3 sets x15 22 kg

Superman Hold

3 x10 seconds

Heading out for a walk later when the rain dies down. Would doing a 40min spin workout or cycling to and from work be better tomorrow?

Well done Johnny, not sure exactly what a Superman hold is but you ARE superman.

Today as part of UnfitNoMore's "100 push ups a day for a month challenge" which are 100 pushups over a period of 18 minutes, 10 sets of 10 every two minutes with 9/90 second breaks was the eighth day of it. Before that I reran run 3 of week 5 at a leisurely pace, around 37 minutes 5K pace, no hurry, I ran that with the app and Laura, a bit of exercise for both of us today.

Very good sir. My dad has started c25k. I'm going to walk it with him. Superman is ly flat on front with arms out straight in front. Raise arms and legs slightly for as long as you can

Thank you for that little demonstration video of what a superman hold is, I'll have a go at that sometime but looks as if a soft cushion might be advisable for beginners rather than a yoga mat.

That is wonderful that your father has started C25K. 😊

Good workout... 5kg on lateral raise is my idea of torture, I’m not strong enough on my left arm for that yet. Like the sounds of that superman hold.

I’d go for the cycling, but only because I see spin bikes the same as I see the treadmill... if I put the effort in I’d beat have gone somewhere! They’re probably fairly even... but the work one fits your day and you have to make time for the spin.

Yeah I hate them if I'm honest. Left arm struggles but have to keep working at it. Decided for a 45 min walk this morning. Woke up and I was sore, yeah no gym. It was wet, yeah walk it is then. Fairly woke me up. 4.8k in 48mins. Got head phones for the phone. So much more comfortable too. Tonight I've to walk with dad while he does run 2 of week 1. No doubt I may loose my head phone to him
