Japanese slow jogging

Got to Wk3 Run2 then had to stop as terrible knee pain, partly due to arthritis.

Seeing Physio tomorrow but meanwhile I’m looking at video on YouTube for Japanese Slow Jogging. I’ve tried looking for an app but unsuccessful so far.

Any suggestions welcomed!

Don’t think there is an app. It’s more a technique that you then use however you like. I do most of my running this way - easy on the joints and helps avoid injury. Of course it is not speed running! 🤣 But it’s great for stamina and distance. My pace is gradually b picking up as my legs have got stronger.

I love this video, I think it was Bazza that first shared it here. what did you want from the app? I think its probably a case of trying it out and applying the method to your running. Id say just give it a try and see how it feels :)
