It has to be Mondays double session taking it out of me. Lol. Didn't have the energy for gym. Mum and dad had the kids so the wife and me went for a good walk. Feel better for it. A good walk does wonders for you.

Would any if you good folk have any training plans for football fitness. Short sprints and change of direction. A weekly plan and small sessions would be good. If anyone has a link handy

I love a good walk, especially if I have had some recent heavy gym sessions, it really does help to soothe the body. Would interval training be helpful? I know we have a few football pitches next to the bowls club and the coach has them running between cones and up and down those flat ladder things.

Nothing specific for training yourself for football, most of what I can find is aimed at a coach training a group soccercoachweekly.net/pract...

Logically it’s endurance, speed, balance and reflex though.
