The weather has been relentless so to all you runners, walkers, cyclists and anyone else who doesn’t have the advantage of a nice air conditioned gym to work out in, very well done keeping up with the exercise this week.
Hopefully the cooler weather is coming in the next couple of days, but just a reminder to take on an extra glass or two of water in the heat.
So, let’s say goodbye to August by adding one little thing that we overlook or don’t like so much but we know is good for us!

I am so glad that I bought a water container for my running a little similar to the water container I have when I do my cycling, the difference between the two is that when running I don't stop to have a drink, I wait until the end of the run, including parkruns and drink from the water bottle there and then after my barcode has been scanned, in cycling I just take the water bottle in my hand and continue cycling, if you are wondering what is in the water bottle for both cycling and running, guess what, I like to drink diluted apple juice, someone once joked if it was cider or Buckfast, ha, no way, I like my diluted apple juice after a run or during a cycling ride.
