Wow! It’s July already... how did that happen? Half the year gone in just 100 or so runs and a similar number of workouts 😂
Welcome to this week’s one more thing. I’m really enjoying this idea of doing something we don’t normally do, or don’t like doing, but know is good for us, for a week.
I think we all have some part of us that we neglect a little in our regimes... I know several runners who don’t do arm and shoulder work... I avoid a few things still.
So, it’s time to identify what we should do more of and find a couple/few time slots into our weekly schedule. Have a great week everyone, the weather is a little kinder than it was at the weekend so far so it’s time to work.

This week I shall not be in the train 🤣. Maybe again soon though.
I swim infrequently but it’s always more a leisurely activity with the family and doesn’t ever involve swimming lengths/circuits. I used to love swimming as a child, so I don’t really know why I don’t do it.
This week I shall swim at least twice and I will swim 30 minutes of lengths to get me started.
This week I am going to try a beginners 7 min yoga session three times this week. Eeeek, so far out of my comfort zone with this one, Still going to do a plank and a squat session too. Good luck everyone. Rfc x
Have fun with the yoga... 7 minutes is a good place to start, I still do the 7 minute run ready yoga routine most days, with a longer session once a week.
Years ago, as my mother packed me off to Agricultural college she gave me these wise words to guide me safely into adulthood "You can do whatever you like, so long as it's not illegal or immoral" She said nothing about only doing stuff that's good for me! And we all know that our mother's word is gospel.....
For sure... wine is legal and they serve in in church 🤣
I had a similar message from my mum at that time too... didn’t realise I was already pretty heavily into all the banned stuff. Now I’m different of course 😇. I have hidden nothing from my daughter though... she can only learn by my mistakes if she knows about them.
I want to do s&f at least twice this week (keep saying this but it’s not happening) I’ve compensated last week though by doing lots of gardening (it’s not the same though, just do it!) 😝
