So my 6 week tester program at the gym has come to a close. Am I going to sign up? No.
Whilst I enjoyed using the egym equipment and would have liked to carry on with that for a while, it was my PT session that sealed the deal. I rediscovered my love of Pilates. Despite extolling it's virtues on here I hadn't been to class for about 2 years 🤦♀️
I can't afford to do gym and Pilates. Unfortunately the free Pilates classes at the gym are all during working hours 😠 So I have joined back up to my old evening class
Going to the gym 3 times a week plus running 3 times a week was getting stressful. I didn't seem to have time to do anything else. I wouldn't start preparing supper until 7pm which meant eating too late then not getting to bed at a sensible time. I don't want unnecessary stress in my life so something had to give.
I'm going to try out a new routine
Mon - Pilates
Tue/Thurs/Sat - running with 10 mins arm weights session post run
Fri or Sunday - a DVD or YouTube yoga/Pilates/stretch session
At least when I'm exercisingat home I can have supper on the go at the same time
Let's see how this goes 🙂
Ps no suggestions of exercising before work. I just won't happen 🤣

Ha ha! I know your pain... two dog walks each day, one run, one yoga session... frantic weed of rampant garden... Oh! And work... And as for cleaning the house...?🤷🏻♀️... some nights I’ve been eating my evening meal in the bath *not really. But have since also reviewed my ‘routine’!! Glad you’ve settled on something that works for you (Just don’t forget there’s now a few planks that need adding in there too!! 😉) x x
I have soooo many plants in pots waiting for a new flower bed but I can't do that until the new fence goes in and I've been procrastinating big time.... arghh
I have a week off now so fingers crossed the rain holds off long enough to at least mow the lawn 😊
Cleaning - 🤷♀️ I'm never going to reach Kim and Agie standards but it's vaguely presentable.
How you manage to fit in dog walks as well is beyond me x
Running, 2 dog walks, 3 children, full time job with a 4 hour daily commute, garden (tomato plants growing well), house work and studying for my professional qualification, sometimes I wish I were Wonder Woman, I'm sure she'd cope!
OMG!! When do you find time to sleep?! You’re already amazing - my three children have grown up and left home... can’t <begin> to imagine factoring them into the equation!! X x
