Up at my usual hour to get back into my routine of doing somthing. Went to the gym and done 10 min continuous of-
500 m row
10 push ups
15 body squats
4 pull ups
2 min rest & repeat 3 times
10 min easy cycle on machine
In all done 4400 meteres rowing, 60 press ups, 90 squats and 24 pull ups then went for a gentle 250m swim. This was slow. But that's what is was about. Just getting into a rythem.
Have to say 1st time at that gym and I was very impressed. I went a little further to this one as it had the pool. I can do alot of stuff now as they have the equipment that I couldn't do in my usual one
Heel and ankle held up in all the work out so pleased with that. Still just want to run tho. Lol

That’s great Johnny... so good that the injury didn’t react. You’re going to be in amazing shape when you do get back to running... I’ll try to find a podcast I heard a few weeks ago... the physio/coach was advising marathon runners to start in a gym on strengthening for a month before doing any running at all... in a way that’s where you’re at now.
Im just weird. Sometimes it just takes me a while to work things out. How I'm going to feel, work it with work etc. My thing is I have to like it. If I like it I'm all in. If I don't I fight it. Have to admit I feel good this morning. I know when I do the Nike thing later I wont. I just have to research my workouts a bit more. I hate doing just weights. I find give me 3/4 movements etc to do and over 2/3 repeats. I find that more enjoyable. Hope that rant makes sense
Yeah... i like to hit multiple NTC sessions back to back for variety. My dumbbell one is 20 minutes so I then hit something gentle, and then onto something else, while trying to avoid the word burpee of course.
Glad your ankle is ok. What a work out! Thought I’d let you know I can now do 10 knee press ups. Still not sure I’ll do a proper one by 30th, but I’m trying.
