I hate this week

I'm doing my second duathlon this week. I hate this week. You can't over do it so you are 100% ready... Think this this may my last. I just want to train. I love doing the training for it and yes probably the race. Just don't like this build up. Anyone else like this

Just signed up for a 55 mile cycle next Sunday (7th) Hope I'm ready for that

It must be awful, got to say Iโ€™m not looking forward to tapering, Iโ€™m bad enough on non running days already. I was just listening to the Free Weekly Timed podcast, and Vassos started training in January for a triathlon that is next year! 18 months or so of training... then all he has to do is run the 100 miles from London to Dover, swim the channel and then cycle to Paris!

He fibbed... itโ€™s only 87 miles on the run... Arch to Arc... very few have completed it and one guy died after getting into trouble half way through the swim. Thereโ€™s crazy events and then thereโ€™s this one... I may give it a miss!

Yeah think I'll sit this one out too. Might just be a few miles beyond me. I'll stick to my push up challenge lol

I have my big swim tomorrow, 2.5km, so i Have Been on a taper week this week too. On a side note my kitchen is gleaming today I have completely spring cleaned the windowsill in there. ๐Ÿ˜‚. Had to find something to do, have a great event, looking forward to hearing all about how it went. Rfc x
