Hi there everyone I am back working on here again after my op. Everything went really well and we are both working on our recovery.

What has everyone else been up to on the exercise front?, and what have you got planned for this week?.

Well being Mothering Sunday, i asked for resistance bands as a gift from my son. I have been on You Tube and looked at exercises there. Only gentle to start but impressed with the videos. Still trying to increase my walking but that will take time and I am a bit slow. However i keep a diary of events, which includes the reading from my Fit Bit, and I am gradually getting better. Now the weather has improved it makes you want to walk or be more active. Have started to think about swimming but that will have to wait for my sister to take me, at present I am waiting to hear from DVLA regarding my driving licence. I am gradually getting stronger just have to pace myself.

Think positive. Hope all goes well with recovery.

I used to take my resistance bands out on my walks with me sometimes and use park railings while I was out in the fresh air for a bigger workout.

Good luck on the DVLA. Front I know from my Dad they can really drag their feet and leave you in limbo.
