I had a bad bout of cellulitis and am coming to tail end of antibiotics. Most of the extreme pain is gone but whats bee left is this chronic burn pulsing on front of foot between the pinky toe to ankle . It remains this 5 level in pain but than starts to get extreme pain in this charlie horse vice grip all over foot pain when I start to walk.
On the positive note I did get a hospital to believe and hospitalize me for three days with IV antibiotics and the open wound I had been fighting for 4 months closed up within one day. I got really awesome gluten free food that I didnt have to cook. And lost 10 pounds so now I am only 1 pounds from my ultimaate goal weight.MOST IMPORTANTLY, I STILL HAVE A LEG!!!!!

I have had cellulitis in my lower left leg twice and my right lower leg once. I was fortunate to get to my GP early but it still took many weeks to clear. It was very hot, painful, burning and I felt dreadful. My legs have areas that look bruised ( and this is 18 months later) What is the connection to Raynauds and Sjogrens and cellulitis? How fortunate I was not to have things go to the degree you endured. Keep taking care.
hi i have this mess. i have to have surgery on hands, i have alot of lumps in legs. they are in veins ,, do u have this. my legs hurt so bad. im on pain meds , doesnt help much. god i pray they would come up with something to kill this stuff. would lov to talk to others. dont know what to do. i go to johns hopkins hosital, they say no cure. god bless all
After I had my cellulitis in my toes, I have had pain in them, I had vasculitis which caused three toes to go necrotic which caused the cellulitis. The vasculitis has caused nerve damage in my toes of both feet, so I take pregabalin twice a day if it is acting up. I was also given tramadol and I take that when things are really bad with a couple of paracetamol. I also found keeping my toes warm all the time helps. I have severe Raynaud's so this compounds the issue.
I always lose weight in hospital, they should do that instead of weight loss surgery. have a ward just for people to lose weight hehe

I am just getting over cellulitis rt leg knee down like my whole shin. I have had it for a long time but it didn't get REALLY swollen about 12 days ago then went to doc. End of Clindamycin. its not really red anymore some swelling not near what it was but my shin feels BRUISED and SORE Scale 4-6 so not pulsing pain. Normal?
I'd like an answer to this too. I was hospitalized with Cellulitis in my left leg from 2/8-2/12. I was given IV meds and when I left the hospital was given oral meds. I've been on them since and it's 3/3. I have Lymphedema and they are having me wear compression wraps to help that. Since having Cellulitis, I've had the same problem - pain in my shine, just as you are experiencing. I have times when it isn't as bad, but it's usually there. Before Cellulitis, I didn't have the issue. For the most part any sign of the Cellulitis seems to be gone, but I'm having this pain. Like you I'm wondering is this normal? Will it go away?
