Digital ulcers? And - Treatment?!?

Have undifferentiated connective tissue disease - first they thought lupus, then scleroderma, then rheumatoid arthritis, have a fair few overlapping symptoms.

Have wicked oral ulcers atm. But - have these on my hands, too, the larger of the two just won't heal, is slowly getting bigger even with creams, lotions, , petroleum jelly, beeswax ointment ,covered, uncovered, steroid cream, antibiotic cream. Started as a crack in my stupidly always dry skin (again, no matter what lotions, etc I've tried, grr), has progressed to this.

What should I do with them? How do I get them gone?!?

This is my other hand, this one started when a beef bone stabbed me, of course cleaned and sterilized it, but still, two weeks later, here it is...

have you asked about prazosin 1 mg or amlodipine try aquaphor ointment its great. ask a dermatologist, rheumatology, immune doctor do not take no for an answer speak up your a warrior make noise. hugs for a better day. if your in pain wild lettuce extract mt rose herbs or ebay i use it works great.

Hi Bengali have you tried Snowfire ointment stick, I get terrible cracks down my thumbs especially that can turn into ulcers but find that Snowfire helps a lot to clear them up. Hope you get some relief soon. Jan x

Snowfire is a BRILLIANT ointment and it’s what I use for any hack that appears and usually stops things from progressing. Hope you can get it. Good luck 🤞

Hi its an ointment stick, if you look on Amazon you'll find it, although I actually got mine from Boots the Chemist in UK. Its amazing with cracks on fingers and stops it progressing. Jan x
