Hello everybody, I hope you are enjoying the slightly warmer weather and the lighter nights. Anyway, I had a hospital appointment last week, came away having had a steroid injection in the right buttock this time, haha, and the prospect of a top up session of iloprost due to the fact I have a big toe with a small area of black! so circulation as decided not to reach the parts that other circulations reach! Anyway will find out whether it"s iloprost or yet another tablet tomorrow when I go to another appointment at my other hospital that looks after me and has a specialist dept, I wait with baited breathe. Visited the dentist today, that was fun as always, laying flat on my back having metal instruments of torture is a too stronger word, put in my mouth that refuses to open wide enough to have said objects put in comfortably, hahaha. I treated myself afterwards with an all day breakfast and a flat white. joy! Well it"s getting closer to that time of the year when I start thinking about getting my electric bike out of hibernation, giving it a dust down, recharging the battery, checking the tyres and well that"s as far as I have got, thinking about it. But hey, positive thinking once it gets a little bit warmer, there will be no holding me back, I will be the speeding nana, wind in my hair, smiling and waving to the startled people I pass by and hoping I have charged the battery fully so I can get back home again. No I wont be wearing the lycra! there"s a difference with people being startled or being reported for appearing in public in inapropriate attire. All this talk about cycling is wearing me out and making me hungry, goodness knows how I will cope with doing it in reality. In the meantime I shall watch energetic people on the television. I shall sign off with a smile and wave folks, smile and wave.

Some wonderful thoughts. They say that even imaginary exercise is good for you - I certainly hope so!

Hi, fairy56. Your words sound free and happy. Great! May I ask why you received a steroid shot to the buttocks? (My right hip and leg have been bothering me). Also, where is your dark spot on the big toe? I have one coming about under my toe nail. I'm smiling, though. Did you catch my wave?🙂

Hi Intimeslikethese, thanks for the wave! I suffer with pain in my left hip and knee amongst all the other pains, so my consultant prescribed me a steroid injection to help. I have been having them now for about 2 and a half years, every 4 to 6 months, it does help especially the pain in my hip. They alternate between buttocks. As regards to my black bit its under side of my left big toe, and having been to my hosp appt today I am having Iloprost next week because they are concerned that if they leave it I could end up with dead tissue! Would have been sooner but its Easter weekend.
