Hi personally I would use the small charcoal ones you can get from any outdoor store I find that they can last up to 8-10 hrs when I use them during the winter months. I have used the cell Ines and that don't last anywhere near as long. Hope you find some oh and if you go to Costco you can buy them in bulk when they have them in. Oh yes you can also get them for your feet too from the outdoor stores like Cotswold. I hope this helps.
Best wishes

I have found sheepskin gloves work better than the heated gels. Sheepskin boots and a warm down coat work wonders for me.
For gloves I have the silver ones that I wear alone early on in autumn and on milder days and then double up with a fur lined pair on top, sometimes mittens. I have just bought this USB heated hand warmer and it's great so far! Lasts me on the chilly walk to and from the station for work! It doubles up as a phone charger too!

Hi,
I use the charcoal heating pads inside mittens and they work very well. I never use gloves as my hands just seem to freeze inside them.
Hi Kc I totally agree with replies already made, I buy a big box of 40 charcoal handwarmers and never go anywhere without a pair, even on warmish days the supermarkets are ridiculously cold. I was queuing in the bank the other day underneath an AC unit pumping out freezing cold air - what a waste and I feel so sorry for the folk having to work in that environment, I can feel my body shutting down by the second!
Also thanks so much to unlucky1 I'm straight on to Amazon to get my little rechargeable gadget!
Brilliant thanks for posting Kc I think your question has helped all of us!
All the best

Thanks guys for all your comments my husband suffers with scleroderma the winter has not even started yet and I am freezing so can't imagine how he feels every year I buy a pair of gloves for him but they never stick around so just wanted to see if there was anything new out there thanks guys for all your help will get buying 😂
I usually use these but can still be a bit cold, not so bad if your hands are warm going in. The gloves are not waterproof though.
I got silver lined gloves from the OT but your hands must be warm first, thermal gloves are quite good and mittens. A lot of gloves are a bit too thick for everyday activities so I got some gel pads to heat up, haven't tried charcoal ones yet but they sound great if they last that long
Sorry do you guys mind sending links or the website you buy your products im googling them but getting so confused so many different things coming up looking particularly for the charcoal gloves
Carcoal handwarmers?
Silver gloves
Sorry to be a pain thank u
I find gloves don't work for me so I wear fur lined mittens with handwarmers. I have never tried the charcole ones as I find the ones that start to heat up as soon as the packet is opened and exposed to the air work for me. They can last most of the day
and can even get a bit too hot on occasions. I keep my mittens on the radiator when I am not using them which seems to give the handwarmers inside extra life.
I get them from UKTOOLBOX.com. They come in a box of 40 pairs product code ERGE6990S Product title ERGODYNE E6990 N-FERNO warming twin pack. I use them in the summer by keeping them in my pockets as mittens look rediculous. Hope you find something that works for you.
I always wear 12% silver socks and gloves, which I buy from the Raynaud's society. I've been wearing them for many years now and they definitely help me hugely
