My face is always red like I'm hot or blushing.......?!?!

Hi does anyone else suffer from redness in the face? Mine started about a week ago, first it was like a rash all blotchy and raised and now it's constantly red like I'm really hot or blushing!! It's mainly on my cheeks but does spread when it's bad! I have Raynauds in my feet and bad arteries in my leg and feet and was only diagnosed in June this year! I was on clopidogrel until a few weeks ago and am now just taking an aspirin a day!! Been to the docs so many times this year so I thought I'd ask on here before I go again!! Thanks Jo xx

There are huge numbers of people with one auto immune condition or another and loads who seem to have several overlaps. Whether it is just different aspect of a single auto immune issue is something we may all know in the future.

But the facial flushing is something that is quite common with lupus. The fact you are being treated with blood thinners could suggest a Hughes/Anti phospholipid symdrome connection. There are also communities for both of these conditions on HU for you to browse.

I was amazed to read about your face problems. I have recently had a red blotchy face and last night I took a photo so I can show the GP. I am fearing Lupus. I have Secondary Sjogren's Syndrome with Raynauds and CREST. I hope that it is something less of a problem. I hope you also are OK. Take care.

I often have a red face. People think that I am so healthy. I have Raynaud's and scleroderma (systemic steniosis).

Hi all i have Raynauds Phenomenon ,Lavido latictriartis ? Lupus i go red very often starts on my face and affects my whole body ,conected to the raynauds im told .I have noticed that its trigered with change of temperature from room to room ,also when i eat and drink ,hot and cold food and drinks .Drives me mad

Well I always my face look like im blushing people are so use to it they dont know if im actually blushing or not.But you can get used to it its not like its affected me it makes me kinda happy knowing that i wont get got if i blush from something.But hope its not serious for you ^w^
