I have Raynauds and Sjogren's syndrome and take nifepedine. This past few days, I have had a burning sensation in one buttock - I thought I had sat on something warm and wet to start with. It comes and goes, and is very strange. Anyone else had this?

burning buttock anyone?
I too get this in the backs of my thighs close to the buttocks. It sometimes is on one side or the other and even both at the same time. I believe it has to do with the nerve endings. I take Neurontin(Gabapentin) 300 mg three times a day for a total of 6 a day to keep this at bay. It works for the most part but, some times it still flares up. It falls in the category of signs of Fibromyalgia. My next trip to the Rheumatologist I'm going to ask him if I have this. I have done some research on my own from the symptoms I have been experiencing. I have Raynaud's and Limited Scleroderma. So, your not alone and we will keep all informed as, we get answers from the professionals.
Glad we could be of some help. I get pins & needles in both my hands and feet. I have to wear braces on both of my hand and wrist if I want to get sleep at night. The pain is unbearable with out them. Just keep asking your doctor(s) any question you have about your health. That is what they are there for or tell you who to see if they can help.
