Yet another odd things that I was ignoring but wonder if it is actually A THING ...
A couple of weeks ago I stated getting a very warm, almost burning sensation down the outside (feel, kind of inside the outer side) of my right thigh. It's almost constant - but not quite - and it feels as if I am standing or sitting next to a radiant heater on that side.
Now, as a Raynaud's sufferer, normal that would sound like a good thing 😀 BUT I had too many occasions over the years where an little oddity turns out to be a sign of something major.
I have a mass amount of stress going on right now with my parents (so it could just be my body having a screwed us reaction to stress) and was putting it to the back of my mind. Then I suddenly thought "is this was cellulitis feels like?"
Does any one have experience either of odd burning sensations, or of cellulitis (or both). Before I approach my GP. Thanks

Hi I haven't had that, but I have had cullulitis which is red and swollen and painful. Yours sounds like nerve pain. Could it be meralgia paresthetica, compression on the nerve in the thigh. Look it up on the NHS website. Good luck.
I think it might be nerve damage after all, as it has eased now I've had a few days of going for walks or standing up at the computer - not sitting in endless car journeys and sitting for hours at my paren't computer (v bad posture)!
I recently had cellulitis which covered the whole of my right shin. Very red and very painful but not too swollen as not much flesh there to swell. I would keep a close eye on your leg as it took 2 rounds of antibiotics to clear my infection (and no obvious skin break/cause). Hope you are feeling better soon.
I think it might be nerve damage after all, as KatieAnna suggested - it has eased, now I've had a few days of going for walks or standing up at the computer - not sitting in endless car journeys and sitting for hours at my paren't computer (v bad posture)!. Thanks though - useful to know what to look for.
