yesterday in school i had a cooking lesson, but lately my cooking teacher has been absent due to a knee op. so we had a supply. when i was cooking yesterday, my teacher (the knee op one) came up to me and said 'are you ok?' i said 'yes' she then said 'are you sure? come and see me if you need to' then my other teacher (the supply) came up to me and said 'how are you today?' i said 'well ok i guess my hands are shaky' i said, putting my hand up, it was jumping up and down incontrollably. at that miss gasped 'are you ok? do you need me to do that?' i was chopping onions. ' i should be fine' i said, confidently. she then said ' if you need help just pop your hand up ok?' at that i nodded, then a girl who i know a bit who was working across from me said, 'ill help her aswell miss if you need me to do anything' (not in those exact words'. turned out i couldnt turn the sausages in the pan easily, open the tins, or cut the garlic easily. at the end i decided to take my planner to the teacher (knee op one- the other one knows) she was fine with it and asked 'what do you normally do' and 'can we do anything to help?' she was fine with it all and wasnt really surprised. some teachers and people can be horrible, but there are some who are very nice. i know its hard to understand, but i would highly appreciate it if people didnt automatically judge me.

yes it is, im glad i have some teachers on my side. ok, thanks, luckily as i live with my parents (im in my early teens) they can still do the things i need help with, aka cutting the onion!! jar opener, thats a new one!! i find tins quite hard though, opening them and carrying them, although one can isnt a problem when i carry it, its when its a four pack its a pain....

Well done litttlemissshy........remember to rise above them all.....keep your seniors informed and educate your peer group on your condition......don't be afraid to ask for help or offer explanations concerning your raynauds and the problems you face......you will find that individuals will be more accepting and willing to help you if they are informed about your illness......sometimes you may find that people behave inappropriately because they have never heard of certain condition's........but on the other hand you will be very surprised how differently they react when they have been informed and educated on the illness.....best of luck ..... and remeber......don't let them wear you down...xx
