In most cases as long as you have notified the DVLA that your Sleep Apnea is under control, ie. you have a CPAP machine and you are supported by your GP/Hospital you should be OK. ( Unless your apnea’s have degraded significantly since the said DVLA notification)
I was lucky, I delayed telling them UNTIL the hospital said my OSA was controlled (CPAP for MINIMUM 5 hours a night - average!). Because of that, I kept my licence, you need to prove to your sleep clinic that you are using CPAP for 5 hours before requesting your licence back from DVLA.That's the rules. Sorry.
