avastin side effects

hi. I’m currently receiving avastin immunotherapy infusions every 3 weeks. I’m wondering if others are on this and what side effects you might be experiencing.

I ‘m also on Avastin every three weeks. My hair is thinner and I’m nauseous a lot. I take an anti nausea pill if it gets too much. They monitor protein in the urine. I was supposed to have an infusion today but we’re skipping it all together. So next one is Jan 18.

Hi, my most obvious side effect was my nose! I had a bloody nose, worse at night, the entire time I was on it. At night I would have to wake up seven or eight times to clear my nose. It wasn't a blood dripping down my face kind of bloody nose, just a my nose is stuffed up -- with blood , bloody nose. It slowly resolved when I came off Avastin. I was fatigued on Avastin as well but that is harder to judge because my creatinine slowly went up on Avastin until my eGFR was under 30 (and kidney problems make you tired, so what came first the chicken or the egg?). I would have had to stop Avastin because of my kidney function, but Avastin also stopped working simultaneously. My kidney function returned to normal over the next six months once I was off Avastin (even though I was on a new treatment regimen). I have had increased headaches on all my treatment regimens in the first few days after infusion, but I am a lifelong migraine experiencer and I do not know if that perhaps predisposes me.

hi, I had 11 sessions and had to stop due to high blood pressure and proteinia. Whilst on it I just had a bloody nose on the morning and the odd nose bleed. It was very doable. Wishing you the best.
