Could this be ovarian cancer?

I’ve been having pelvic pain and pressure, lower back pain, and now the urge to pee more often. It’s not like a uti (has those before) but the urgency is getting worse. I almost can’t make it to work anymore. The other thing is I’ve been spotting and I have NEVER had spotting outside of my period before. (Period Jan 9- 15... spotting until feb 6 and then next period). I also have bloating that’s getting worse.

My ultrasound shows an enlarged right ovary 4.9 x 4.4 x 3.4 cm. Left ovary measures 2.0 x 2.1 x 1.2 cm. The volume of my right ovary is 38ml while my left is only 3ml. It also shows a complex cyst measuring 4.1 x 3.6 x 2.5 cm with septation. Small amount of free fluid in pelvis.

See bloating pic below. My primary doctor wants to wait 8 weeks and do another ultrasound. Thoughts?

Dncr123! OMG! You need a second opinion ASAP! Do not wait eight weeks. Get an appt. now with a gynecologist! Bloating and having to pee a lot are prime symptoms of ovarian. However, a lot of other gynecological problems and cancers also have these symptoms. Regardless of whether it's ovarian or not, you have something going on that needs treatment. You have enlarged ovaries, so that tells me things are sketchy. You can have a CA125 blood test and that could possibly be an indicator to ovarian or not too. If you do have ovarian and let it go too long, you can develop ascites and that really is terrible. Also, if you have ovarian cancer, make sure you get a gynecologic oncologist. Wishing you the best, but sounds like you need another opinion. Take care, Canoer

You need to get another opinion. Many doctors told my the cyst on my ovary was normal but I had pain and knew something was wrong. Trust your instincts!! Go to a gynecologist quickly! Have the enlarged ovary completely removed and tested. Then go from there. Hopefully it’s nothing but it’s not worth the risk. Good luck and keep us posted!

Get second opinion, see an obgyn. Ask for a CA 125 blood test. I was misdiagnosed 6 times by a terrible Dr who didn't listen. I was crazy exhausted. Also my period stopped, fluid turned to lite pink spotting. Google so 5 star oncologists near you. Or go to your Dr. And get ca125. Best wishes Liz

If your situation is getting worse and you're not feeling well at all, but still your doctor is insisting you to wait for next 8 weeks then it is the time to change your doctor or to visit another specialist. Because it is better to not take a chance with your life. So get appointment with another specialist immediately and get the right diagnosis.

Best Wishes!
