Hello- my MIL is on her 2nd round of chemo and needs a blood transfusion. Is this a normal part of chemo?

Yes, it can be. If her blood counts are somewhat low, a transfusion can be a quick way to correct the situation and help her keep going with the chemo regimen. Best wishes to your MIL in getting through this phase - hope she starts feeling better soon! Deb in Colorado
