She is out of ICU!!!

She is still in hospital but slowly getting better. Just trying to hang in there until she can start chemo.

Such great news!! One day at a time, that's how we take this long battle.

Such good news. They will keep a close eye on her clots. Usually can take up to a year on blood thinners for them to dissolve but you can be given Lovenox prior to a surgery. That was my situation anyhow. Many prayers. Priscilla

Well unfortunately she went back into ICU today due to her heart beating really fast again.

Do they know why she has the fast heart rate? Can be stress, anxiety, medication, etc. At least she will be monitored closely. Love and prayers! Sometimes it is minute by minute in this long journey.

They said because she is low on electrolytes from not eating and because of the pulmonary embolisms

Are the clots dissolving? They can give electrolytes by IV. Hang in there.

Yes they are giving them by IV. I’m not sure if they’re dissolving yet. They said they are still there and their plan is once she is stable to start chemo. But I assume the clots need to be resolved, as well.
