Good Morning, I was diagnosed in May 2015 with stage 3c ovarian cancer after being misdiagnosed with irritable bowel; 18 months prior I had a partial hysterectomy and was declared 100% safe. I had an unsuccessful debulking surgery in May 2015 and started Carbo/Taxol in June 2015. In August 2015, I had another debulking surgery which was successful and completed 9 more weekly chemo treatments. I was declared cancer free in October 2015, I think my success with the treatments because we dubbed my chemo as "Pure Love" going into the body releasing little pac-men to eat the cancer cells (The power of the mind). I stayed in remission for 18 months then in May 2017, I had a reoccurrence and started Carbo and Doxil; luckily my body is very responsive to the "Pure Love". I started the maintenance drug Lynparza in December 2017 and have been cancer free since then. I firmly believe in the power of positive thinking, the combination of eastern and western medicine.

Good luck and god is always there with you ✌🏼
Did you experience any side effects with Lynparza in the beginning, like nausea, fatigue and stomach discomfort?
Agreed, this is what I preach to my mom. Have to have faith in whatever you believe and push through ❤️
For the first few weeks a had a greater sensitivity to food (some food making me feel nausea); I had to take nausea medicine for the first day or two. Even 15 months out, there are still some foods that I am sensitive to, so I just avoid them. I definitely have more gas in my system. I know fatigue is an issue for some but I have been fortunate to not have any. Hope it goes well for you.
