Hello everyone!
I just wanted to touch base with everyone and report my progress so far.I started chemo carboplatin/taxol on Jan 9, I did 9 treatments had a cat scan to see if my node decreased which it did and then I had surgery.I had to recover a bit from the hysterectomy/ node resection for 2 weeks and then went back to chemo to finish up.I have to say I certainly don't wish this on anyone but it really hasn't been horrible.I'm not sick at all but I do get tired after the carboplatin week,it usually gets better in 4 days and I'm back to myself again.I will have a post treatment cat scan to have a look see if anything is popping up π¬I hope not,but all in all I'm very thankful that I can even do this! I believe that the anti nausea drug Emend is what made the difference for me going forward with the treatments.I wish all patients received this drug during chemo because it truly is a lifesaver.I hope and pray for all of us on this journey.Stay strong XOXOπβ€οΈ
