Eyebrow pencil

I know this seems trivial compared to what we're all going through, but can anyone recommend an eyebrow pencil that stays on and doesn't smudge or disappear. My eyebrows didn't return some years ago after chemo. One more thing I have no control over. Thanks.

Hi BinkysMom! Love your question! I love that you are taking care of your self, that’s never trivial especially in our world of MBC. I LOVE Kevyn Aucoin True Feather marker brow gel duo. It’s not cheap but it is worth it! Brows are so important.

They frame the eyes and the hair line. I have thinning brows and Fibrosing Alopecia, my dermatologist at UCSF got under control (Thank God). So my brows are important. My daughter who is 31 turned me on to Aucoin. A life saver. Good Luck!

I so feel for you. I thought I’d finally got over the worst of chemo with full loss of hair and then lost eyelashes/ brows a few months later which was far more devastating. The brows never came back. my hands shake too much and shoulders hurt too much to apply the eyebrow pencils correctly on a daily basis and the meds rule out tattooing. So suggestions welcome to your post.

I order “Wonderbrow” from Amazon. It is a cream that I apply with the brush it comes with. It is waterproof and doesn’t come off unless I take it off with waterproof eye makeup remover.

I also had my eyebrows microbladed. (Tattooed) a few years back. It was expensive but lasted a year. Now even though the microblading is faded, I can still see it enough to apply the Wonderbrow on to it and keep the same shape.

Not an expert beauty person. This is just what I use. Hope it helps!!

Anastasia products, you can get them at Ulta and Nordstrom. They are a little pricey but last a long time and look so natural.

go to Ulta for an eyebrow kit. It’s not permanent and needs to be replaced daily

I had my eyebrows micro bladed because they came back so thin after my first bout with cancer. I now have had mbc for 6 years and I was going to get my eyebrows touched up but decided not to because of all the meds I am on. They still look pretty good.

Hope you find something that will work for you💕. Theresa

I also got mine micro bladed and it was the best decision, totally worth it.

I love thrive cosmetics. It has a wand and looks very natural. Semi permanent but probably won't work if you don't already have some brows. It's more of an enhancement. I would also consider micro blading if what I'm using wasn't working for me.

Mine are patchy. I found a gel pen I think it was Avon. It has little bits in it! I've heard you can have them tattooed. I have mine tinted for special occasions and try to fill the gaps.

All these things help us feel normal!

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. I will definitely look at your product suggestions. I did look into tattooing but it needs yearly maintenance and may get a bit costly. But for those who have done this procedure, kuddos to you for doing what works for you. Thank you also for not making my question seem frivolous. I do believe every little thing we can do to make us feel better about ourselves helps us to have a 'good day'. Hugs for all ❤️
