Hi Helena I finished 6 rounds ( 12 treatments) of Paclitaxel in May . I found it manageable . As the treatments went on I was a little more fatigued . About 6-8 weeks after the treatment ended the fatigue started to get better.

I was on Taxol six years ago and lost all my hair and was very tired but after treatment my hair came back and I am now on Herceptin and Anastrozole. Still have fatigue but no problem with Taxol or Herceptin. I just had my 103rd chemo infusion and pushing through. Good luck to you. Attitude is everything!

Hi, Helena I am not on Taxol but I am on medication that is 3 weeks on and 1 week off and felt at first as though my life wasn't my own as I was at the hospital every month, I am in my early 60s but do not look my age. I was never one for going to the doctors and never really got that ill but diagnosed with BC 2018 and now MBC in 2020 which was a blow for me but I carry on. You get into a routine with the medications you have to take but I wish you all the best, I find that my energy has been cut in half because I was always going out shopping or visiting family and walking a lot. Now I walk with a crutch as the illness progressed to my hip and had to have surgery. As I am a positive person just get on with things but unfortunately at a slower pace but. I am sure you will get the information you need from this sharing platform from some of the ladies able to share their experiences of Taxol with you. You take care and good luck.
