I’m hanging in there fortunately no cancer progression. Just regular medical stuff. Still on ibrance 100 uand letrozole , it’s been almost 7 and 1/2 years. I now see oncologist and labs every 3 months( instead of monthly) , Ct and full body bone scans every 6 months instead of every 3 and yearly mamo. I have Er/PR +, HER2 - , oligimetastatic breast cancer. Stage 4 diagnosed in July 2016. I had 26 weeks red devil chemo, lumpectomy and 6 weeks radiation. My type is stage 4 because it went to one spot on spine and one lymph node but no organs. My son is a radiologist and he spotted the cancer on t4. I’m always waiting for the shoe to drop and not going to oncologist monthly is scary.

Recently I had a really bad bout with Covid and then a really bad bout with Rhabdomyalosis , from interaction of a statin with Ibrance. It took months of rehab luckily no lasting organ damage. The crazy thing was I was experiencing bouts of muscle weakness for more than 2 years that they’d attribute to anemia , so I’d go of all meds get transfusions and then get better. It wasn’t until in a 24 hour period I was taken b Y ambulance when the only part of my body I could move was my neck. Very scary situation, they caught it just in time before complete organ shutdown. Phew that was a lot of info, It is such a crazy disease and no one has the same story. Every ache makes me nervous. Im so sorry you’ve been having such a rough time , my thoughts are with you. I always look for posts from you. I look forward to every event with my family , and will be in Boston soon to visit my oldest grandson at Tufts. Hope some good foliage, No is still in summer mode.

Please keep me posted on your progress. Apologies for so much info.
