Blood thinner replies

Thanks for all your replies and support about my pain and blood thinners. I have stopped taking them. My oncologist has changed me from anastrozole to Veriznio, he thinks that will help with the move pain, and seems the worst side effect is diarrhea, which will appear in the first month. I’m waiting for it to come from costplusdrugs. I will have a 60 day supply of anastrozole and hopefully Walgreens will take back the unopened bottles from the factory. I have a scan in the middle of July, as he saw something on my lungs and he thinks it was pneumonia and he gave me antibiotics for that, and my cough is gone I had so hopefully that was it and not cancer. Still the pain subsides on my arthritis medicine and I’ve been putting dilofenic gel on the painful areas, but nit too much and that helps a bit. Thanks again for all your replies and support! Hugs!

That is odd -- anastrozole and Verzenio are completely different kinds of drugs. I guess you know that. So you are not on any estrogen inhibitor or degrader? I had painful joints from the AI's, but not from SERDs. Have you been on fulvestrant? I forget. The oral SERD I was on never made it to market. The one that is available works best if you have a mutation.

I have heard of people being on AI or SERD only, but never of CDK4/6 inhibitor only. Has anyone done that?

I take Ibrance too. I do have mutation. Seems my dr is wrong?

Ibrance and Verzenio? Weird. I would look it up. Two CDK4/6 inhibitors?

Which mutation do you have? If you have ESR1 mutated (i.e., estrogen inhibitors don't work), you could take Orserdu, the oral SERD that is FDA approved. -- But I am afraid I am practicing medicine without a license!
