I hope and pray everyone is doing the best they can and please know that I am always here to chat is you need to!!
I just wanted to share my exciting news that I am hopefully adopting two kittens tonight! I’ve been approved by the Feline Friends shelter and I go to see them and hopefully adopt them this evening. I am so excited because I have always found that having a pet is so helpful when I am depressed or anxious, and hopefully will help me deal with now going through MBC.
I will post pics if I get them tonight!!
Other than that, I’m doing well except for a fall yesterday that was from my own stupidity. I was cleaning my house and decided to kneel on a cat tree (that’s what they call a cat scratcher with levels to climb) to help me push up a storm window and pull down the screen. Of course, the cat tree really isn’t meant to support my weight and is a little wobbly, so while kneeling on it, it tipped over backwards and I went with it, landing on my back. Luckily, the floor is carpeted and I don’t have any Mets in my back. I’ve been checking for bruising and have not seen any and the pain is not bad at all. That will teach me!!
Thinking of you all and wishing best of luck to all of you!!

Thank you!! Each cat is definitely their own “person”, complete with personality. They are the greatest!!
Hi Lisa,
How exciting! I hope you get to adopt the kittens. I love cats and would not be in the least offended to be known as the crazy cat lady. Please post pictures if you adopt them.
How is your back? I'm so sorry to hear about your fall.
I got them!! My two new boys, Chiclet and Chuckles, better known as Chicky and Chucky!! I don’t know how to post pics on here but if I can figure it out (if it’s even possible) I will post pictures.
I'm sorry about that fall but happy to hear about the new kitties! My husband and I are both animal lovers and have had dogs most of our marriage and cats always! When we met, we had nine cats between us! LOL Last year his daughter found a tiny kitten in her wood pile and she was afraid to take him into the house because of her dog, so we ended up with him. Our vet thought he was just a month old, and I was feeding him a milk formula several times a day as well as some dry kitten food. Now he's the largest of our cats and he and one of the other tom cats run around like wild things and jump and climb and play fight, especially early in the day. They are just a hoot to watch. Fun and a great diversion! I hope your boys will give you alot of joy for a long long long time!
