Has anyone heard about ARX788 drug trial sponsored by Ambrx pharmaceutical?

Hi wonderful people,

Yesterday I was talking to the member of the newly organized group on Facebook that is called “ErSO activism”. She told me that she is on a trial of a new drug ARX788 by Ambrx pharmaceutical. This lady said that it’s stage 2 trial and that it shows good results. I checked it on trials.com and it was said that it’s for HER2 positive type but she said that hers is negative and that they accept both types. If you heard or are on that trial, please share.

Thank you,

Marina

Hi I received the answer from a pharmacology professor who develops mbc drugs and also consults me about ErSO. He did not develop it but knows lots of specifics and has faith in it. “ARX788 is a monoclonal antibody specific for the HER-2 surface protein - it carries a drug as its payload and upon binding to HER-2 it gets internalized by the cells and releases its payload, then selectively targeting HER-2 positive cells.

In your case, this antibody wouldn’t find its target on the cancer cells - since you are HER-2 negative - and then will be ineffective.”

I am Her 2 negative

Hi Lucy. Yes the lady I talked to on Facebook said that she is her2 low When I read about this trial it says her2 positive but she said they take het2 low. She is not on this forum but on Facebook in ErSO activism for breast cancer group. She said that she just started, got one treatment and her blood results were better. I do not know what she means. She said that people on this trial have favorable results. You can join ErSO activism for breast cancer group on Facebook and will see her comment to some post

Best,

Marina

Hi Lucy. I believe so. Find out more. I communicate with the pharmacology professor that develops mbc drugs (not ErSO). He consults me about ErSO and finds it a ms a very novel and promising compound. I wore him that some people say “people are not mice” He said that most if not all drugs used in clinic now were first tested and were successful on mice. Thus we have hope I asked him about this drug. If he replies I will let you know. Best,

Marina

Hi Lucy again,I got the answer from the professor who consults me about ErSO and mbc drugs in general
