Liver Mets
Not sure what sub type or treatment you are on, but after Taxol, Herceptin and Prejeta my liver mets became undetectable on scan and have remained so for 3 years. It will be four years in Feb next year Wishing you good response and stable scans
So very wonderful to hear!I have liver and bone mets.My once doesn't seem as concerned about the bone mets but my liver although better still shows cancer active I am currently on Enhertu and pray that I can reach the lever you now have.Congrats❤️
My many cancer mets include some in the liver. Given that the liver is a large organ, I could lose a portion of it if necessary. Since my bloodwork indicates that my liver continues to function well, it has not been treated specifically. If I were you, I would have the liver measures included in a standard bloodwork assessment examined to determine whether direct treatment is necessary. If your oncologist thinks the cancer in your liver may spread to other organs, I would ask him/her whether surgery is a sensible option. Keep in mind that (1) cancer treatments may be worse than the disease, and (2) not all cancers grow; some cancer may be inevitable as we age. Good luck with making the right decision for you!
