can someone help with some experiences with Doxil?

Hello everyone,

My mom has been in Xeloda for a year and it just stopped working.ok she had her first round of doxil this morning and will be on it until it stops working I guess…

anyone have any experience with doxil? I know I shouldn’t but reading all the side effects has really put me down in the dumps.

I haven't been on doxil yet, but it was a possibility so I did a bit of research. It can cause heart problems, so it's important to have periodic echo cardiograms to check. I also read, maybe on this forum, that sucking ice chips during the infusion can help with mouth sores. Best of luck to your mom!
