Rash all over my body
I developed a mild rash on my forearms, tell your oncologist about it because it’s a common side effect caused by this combo.
hi- the only time I had this was when I was on pigray and the oncologist had me stop immediately. Also I’m allergic to every penicillin and get full body rashes/hives from those if I happen to take the wrong one. Best of luck as this resolves.
I just noticed a rash on my forearms yesterday. I have Doctor appointment tomorrow and will see what they say.
Hi Rorita. Early in my treatment with Ibrance and Letrozole I developed a wicked rash on upper back, chest and arms. My onc sent me to oncological dermatologist and he gave me an ointment called Triamcinolone 1% and had me change to Dove unscented soap for showering and and change to a free and clear laundry detergent. This set of remedies cleared it up and continuing with the soap and detergent, it never returned.
Yes, I did. Head to toe. Terrible itching.
Turns out I was allergic to Afinitor.
Call your onc. I was switched to Xeloda (the generic brand I cant spell!), and am doing fine. I’m still on the Exemestane. PET scan on 6/1, so we will see how things are going.
Best wishes.
Good luck with your scan.
sorry to hear that bec it is a side effect. I took it for few months only made me so sick and my onc told me he wasn’t sure if it caused me to get my pacemaker. If it’s not working get off of it. 🙏✝️
i got a rash on my upper back and left cheek the first day i started Aromasin (exemestane). Thats all i was on. The onc told me to hold it. The rash was gone in a week and we restarted it without this reaction 🤷🏻♂️
I have not taken this protocol but my doctor and I did discuss it in length. She told me that rashes are very common with it. I had a very bad rash reaction with fever to Piqray (had to stop this protocol immediately), and since I have sensitive skin issues so my doctor is trying to avoid this protocol for me.
hi I’m on abemaclib (verzenio and letrazole and I developed a rash and they have stopped one of my tablets as they think I’m showing an allergic reaction
